Due to the success of last year’s event, our popular jewellery pop-up is returning to Sway Gallery London, this time celebrating work by two new, exciting artisans from Japan. Their unique pieces have been skilfully crafted by hand, and our handpicked collection is exclusive to Sway Gallery in the UK.
This is a rare opportunity to own the very best of contemporary Japanese jewellery design, so we look forward to seeing you in-store soon.
C/T
Simple, bold yet delicate – these are the three keywords that embody artisanal jewellery atelier C/T. From inspiration to production, each element of the design process is carefully considered, with every individual C/T piece skilfully handcrafted in a harmonious fusion of silver, brass and natural stone. From delicate designs to bolder, graphic works, as well as simple lines, our selection has been curated for all tastes and occasions.
Artisan Profile: Chikako Tokashiki
Born in 1983 in Nagasaki Prefecture, Tokashiki completed the Metalworking Course at the Akita Municipal Junior College of Arts and Crafts, after which she studied metal engraving. She founded C/T in Spring 2019 and currently lives in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Designed for both formal and everyday occasions, Ripplyrill jewellery is characterised by a signature, hybrid aesthetic of metal, stone, leather and threadwork. Each original piece has been crafted for comfort, and is carefully handcrafted using unique colours and shapes.
Artisan Profile: Yoshie Shibata
Born in Hokkaido and raised in Oita Prefecture, Shibata graduated in Japanese Painting Studies from Musashino Art University, Tokyo. They began their career in fashion accessories, illustration, drawing and music, before transitioning into metal sculpture and jewellery design.
