ASAHI SHOES

Asahi Shoes was established in 1892. Originally manufacturing tabi socks, and then jika-tabi (Japanese rubber-soled socks), they moved onto manufacturing rubber products and athlete shoes.  The company’s tire division spun off into ’Bridgestone Tire Co., Ltd.’ and the footwear manufacture company adapted final name ‘Asahi Shoes’. Since then, they have devoted their focus on the challenges of manufacturing footwear by creating shoes that walk with you – shoes that are comfortable and easy to wear.
