KUMIKO woodcraft

Originated in 15th century Japan, Kumiko is a delicate and sophisticated technique of assembling wooden pieces without the use of nails. Craftsmen work notches or tenons and mortises on wooden plates or small wooden parts and assemble them without nails or adhesives. Just imagine beautiful wooden work with interesting geometric patterns! Made in Japan of hinoki (cedar) wood.
Available as it is or in a kit to assembly yourself!
